Salary Range: $15.66 To $22.95 Hourly

STATUS Full-time Non-exempt

PROGRAM Community Economic Development

DEPARTMENT People Incorporated Financial Services

Help business and consumer borrowers move from approval to funding. You’ll coordinate closings, verify approval conditions before disbursement, and keep loan files, collateral, insurance, and system records accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.

If you enjoy organizing details, resolving discrepancies, and keeping deadlines on track, you’ll work closely with lending, portfolio, and leadership staff to keep every closing moving.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Coordinate closings & funding
  • Prepare closing packages and coordinate execution; verify approved terms, conditions, signatures, and supporting documents before funding.
  • Confirm funding authorization, disbursement instructions, and use-of-proceeds records; resolve deficiencies with staff and guide borrowers without providing credit approval or legal advice.
  • Process authorized modifications, assumptions, subordinations, releases, satisfactions, and collateral changes.
Own the paper trail
  • Maintain complete electronic and physical files, checklists, and audit trails; validate borrower, loan, collateral, demographic, funding-source, and impact data against approved terms.
  • Prepare and track UCC statements, DMV liens, deeds of trust, assignments, continuations, and releases; verify lien position and recording evidence.
  • Maintain collateral, valuation, ownership, and title records; verify insurance coverage and lender interest, obtain renewals, and escalation deficiencies.
Keep compliance & audits on track
  • Apply agency, funder, and lending requirements for eligibility, ownership, guarantees, appraisals, collateral, and proceeds; support timely notices, disclosures, certifications, and reports.
  • Track post-closing documents, insurance, liens, financial reports, annual reviews, and exceptions through resolution; elevate overdue or material concerns.
  • Review files with management, support audits and examinations, and report closing activity, turnaround times, exceptions, and findings.
  • Monitor requirement changes and update forms, procedures, and cross-training guidance to improve consistency and preserve segregation of duties.

  • You organize competing priorities, follow through, and apply policies and funder requirements accurately.
  • You communicate clearly, collaborate well, protect confidentiality, and know when to seek clarification or escalation concerns.
  • You bring strong computer and data-management skills and a commitment to complete, accurate records.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Business or consumer loan documentation, lien filing, collateral, or insurance experience.
  • Familiarity with SBA, CDFI, or other mission-driven lending programs.
  • Experience supporting audits, resolving exceptions, or improving loan administration.
