Seacoast Bank seeks a Loan Booking and Funding Manager to lead a specialist team responsible for booking and funding consumer, mortgage, and marine loans. You will oversee complex booking requests, manage workflow, and coordinate loan setups and system enhancements while guiding staff and documenting procedures.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with AML/BSA, and collaboration with branches to ensure timely loan bookings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or banking from four-year college or university required.
• Seven or more years general banking experience, including 5-7 years consumer loan servicing and mortgage loan servicing, 3 years management experience in a position with financial controls, loan documentation, and systems applications.
• Flexible schedule required with ability to work during hours of operations, including weekends and occasional non-bank operational hours.
• Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative.
• PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Loan Booking/Funding team in all processes related to Mortgage, Retail, Marine & Alternate Banking Booking & Funding.
• Uploading of loans using computer systems or hand booking as necessary.
• Balancing and processing monetary transactions as needed.
• Providing guidance, training and documenting procedures for users of loan systems/operations.
• Establishes systems, procedures and reports to control, balance, and monitor the loan system database and general ledger.
• Answers external customer and in-house inquiries regarding all Booking/Funding department functions, especially complex cases.
• Processes loan extensions and payment due date changes; re-amortization as needed.
• Processes investor reports and remits payments.
• Reviews reports for department compliance including loan balancing and booking quality control.
• Adheres to AML/BSA requirements and bank policies.
