Job summary

Bank of Colorado in Glenwood Springs, CO, is seeking a detail-oriented loan processor to handle the full loan lifecycle and related responsibilities. You will process loans from preparation through follow-up, assist with closings, and prepare reports for management.

Excellent filing, accuracy, and customer service are essential. Applicants should have a High School diploma or banking experience, plus familiarity with banking software and bookkeeping.

General Summary

• COMPENSATION:** Hourly $26.00 - $32.00

Responsibilities And Duties

• Processes loans, which include: preparation work, computer input and follow-up.
• May assist with loan closings.
• Prepare reports for management.
• Assists with preparation of loans for loan committee, as needed.
• Establishes, maintains, and revises filing and record keeping articles, records, and other documents.
• Assists with customers in reference to loan questions or account questions.
• Assists with bill paying and GL entries.
• Exception tracking.
• Processes payments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of loan processes and basic accounting.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Skill in communicating effectively with management, customers, and co-workers.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to create an organized efficient work environment without supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.

Education And Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent experience in banking.
• Previous experience with computer software and bookkeeping preferred.
