Job summary

Bridgewater Bank's 2027 Summer Internship Program offers students hands-on banking experience within the Loan Administration Team. As an intern, you will work on real projects, attend department meetings, and present your work to the Cohort and leadership at the end.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program pursuing a degree in Business Administration or similar.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with employees, candidates, and leadership effectively
• Organizational Skills - Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Interpersonal Skills - Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong analytical/reasoning skills with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong presentation acumen
• Excellent organizational skills to deal with multiple projects and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to: Maintain confidential information to the highest degree; Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; Develop and maintain effective working relationships

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing loan servicing activities, including data integrity and cleanup efforts.
• Assist with the timely and accurate release of collateral.
• Complete loan maintenance activities and resolve outstanding loan booking ticklers.
• Research and resolve loan and collateral exceptions in partnership with the Loan Closing team.
• Assist in ensuring collateral perfection requirements are completed for newly originated loans.
• Perform final title policy reviews to verify completeness and accuracy and facilitate resolution of identified discrepancies.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and people-oriented intern to join our 2027 Summer Intern Cohort at Bridgewater Bank within Loan Administration Team.

Bridgewater Bank's internship is designed to engage students in real world banking activities to maximize student's education with practical corporate experience. The program strives to provide students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills learned in college to real life work within our organization. Interns will have the opportunity to work side by side with Bridgewater employees collaborating innovative ideas that fit our vision. As a Bridgewater intern, our interns will have the chance to sit in on meetings with their department and be assigned to individual projects which they present to the Cohort and the Operational and Senior Leadership Teams at the end of the Internship.

Program Duration: June 1, 2027 - August 20, 2027

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Support ongoing loan servicing activities, including data integrity and cleanup efforts.
• Assist with the timely and accurate release of collateral.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The hourly base pay range for this role is $22/hr. Bridgewater Bank provides:
