Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking a Loading Dock Security Officer to monitor and control dock access, verify driver IDs, log shipments, and enforce security procedures at our Sparks, NV site.

You will work with receiving and facilities staff, prepare clear reports, and respond to emergencies. Candidates should have at least 1 year security experience, a valid CA Security Guard Card, and strong written and verbal English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• CA Security Guard Card.
• Minimum 1 year security experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control loading dock access for vehicles, drivers, and personnel.
• Verify carrier/driver identification and match against paperwork.
• Log all inbound and outbound trucks, trailers, and shipments.
• Enforce site access procedures and deter unauthorized entry.
• Coordinate with receiving and facilities staff on deliveries.
• Prepare post orders, staffing, scheduling, and training as needed.
• Provide leadership to security officers and supervise shift.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents.
