Job summary

KENT Nutrition Group, Inc. in Mason, MI seeks a Loading Dock Operator for the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

You will manage receiving/shipping logs, rotate stock for FIFO, and coordinate with Shipping/Receiving and Quality Control. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Work cooperatively with fellow employees.
• Thorough understanding of cGMPs.
• Knowledge of HACCP Food Safety Plan and FSMA.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Fill out accurate receiving log for all packaging and raw materials.
• Rotate stock for FIFO usage and shipments.
• Consult with Shipping or Receiving Supervisor for required materials.
• Advise Quality Control daily of any problems with ingredients or finished goods.
• Inspect trailers for sanitation using BB Trailer Inspection form.
• Advise Shipping/Receiving Supervisor of shortages, damages, etc.
• Keep Warehouse aisles clean of debris, boxes, pallets, etc.
• Repair or destroy any damaged ingredients or finished products as directed.
• Maintain forklifts with proper charging and water in battery.
• Maintain adequate records of receiving and/or shipping.
• Do monthly cycle counts on various items per management.
• Do physical counts as instructed per management.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to safely lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to working height, as job requires
