Job summary

Kent Nutrition Group in Columbus, NE, is seeking a Loading Dock Operator for our 1st shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This full-time role involves receiving logs, stock rotation, material coordination, and daily QA communication to ensure safe and compliant production and packaging.

Candidates should be familiar with OSHA, cGMPs, and FSMA, and be able to operate a forklift and perform regular counts and inspections.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication, verbal, written and math skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Thorough understanding of cGMPs.
• Knowledge of FSMA.

Responsibilities

• Fill out accurate receiving log for all packaging and raw materials.
• Rotate stock for FIFO usage and shipments.
• Consult with Shipping or Receiving Supervisor for required materials.
• Advise Quality Control daily of any problems with ingredients or finished goods.
• Inspect trailers for sanitation using BB Trailer Inspection form.
• Advise Shipping/Receiving Supervisor of any shortages, damages, etc.
• Keep warehouse aisles clean of debris, boxes, pallets, etc.
• Handle damaged ingredients or finished products as directed; report details to Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
• Maintain forklifts with proper charging and water in battery.
• Maintain adequate records of receiving and/or shipping.
• Do monthly cycle counts on various items per management.
• Do physical counts as instructed per management.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Management

This a full-time, 1st shift opportunity with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This opportunity offers a competitive wage and an outstanding benefits package.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fill out accurate receiving log for all packaging and raw materials
