About the Role:
The Loading Coach is responsible for all outbound loading operations, dock coordination, shipment execution and logistic flow. This position ensures outbound shipments are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining strong communication between departments day and night shifts. This position works closely with the Loading and Assembly Coach, the Shipping department, and Dock Checkers to keep trucks moving and orders accurate. This position leads day-to-day dock operations, builds loading schedules and dock assignments, and resolves shipping and logistic issues in real time.

$70,304 - 74,000 Annually

- Oversee all dock and loading operations for the Nursery (Day and Night Loading)
- Work with craftsmen in a collaborative, rewarding, and quality-focused environment
- Coordinate outbound logistics with Shipping
- Supervise the daily work of dock craftsmen and dock checkers across shifts
- Lead operational communication and hand-offs between day and night shifts
- Monitor dock flow and truck turnaround efficiency
- Ensure shipment accuracy and quality standards
- Coordinate staffing and labor support for loading operations
- Provide input on hiring and performance management for loading craftsmen
- Build loading schedules and dock assignments that keep trucks on time
- Solve real-time shipping and logistics challenges as they arise
- Monitor safety and loading compliance standards
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and worker protection standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of experience in dock, loading, or warehouse operations
- Working knowledge of outbound shipping and logistics processes
- Experience coordinating or supervising Craftsmen across shifts
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable coordinating across departments and shifts
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing dock priorities
- Experience with personnel decisions including hiring recommendations, performance feedback, and disciplinary action is preferred
