Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load and unload products, ensuring safe handling and efficient truck loading. This is not a supervisory role; punctuality and team collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse, following safety procedures, and working with teammates to maximize vehicle capacity. Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Receiving and unloading the organization’s trucks and trailers.
  • Prepare and load equipment for shipment to the stores in trucks and trailers.
  • Maximize vehicle capacity by ensuring efficient loading and unloading.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and keep work areas hazard-free.
  • Collaborate and work in a team environment.
  • Attend safety training and report unsafe conditions or injuries immediately.

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Receiving and unloading the organization’s trucks and trailers.
  • Prepare and load equipment for shipment to the stores in trucks and trailers.
  • Maximize vehicle capacity by ensuring efficient loading and unloading.
  • Demonstrates adherence to all policies, procedures and safety practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping floors, disposing of debris, and ensuring work areas are free of hazards.
  • Able to collaborate and work in a team environment.
  • Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety and security policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report on any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This work is physical and requires the following activities: Standing, twisting, bending, kneeling, grasping, and reaching for long periods of time; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Frequent walking and long extended periods of time on foot.
  • The ability to push, pull and lift 50 pounds, or more with assistance. Must be able to maneuver 200 pounds, pull utility carts on wheels on and off trucks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Works in warehouse environment will be exposed to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt and pollen as well as extreme heat and cold.
  • Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. The work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays which may vary from week to week as well as occasional overtime when approved by management.
  • Works 40 hours per week or more when required.
