Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Loader/Unloader for its Utah medical waste treatment facility. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, preparing orders, moving equipment, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

We value reliability, ability to lift 50+ pounds, comfort around medical waste with PPE, and a can-do attitude. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM, with full-time benefits and a non-negotiable hourly rate of $21.50.

Qualifications

• Experience in labor-intensive warehouse or manufacturing work.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely and repeatedly.
• Reliable with previous employers.
• Comfort around medical/universal waste with PPE.
• Willingness to undergo 5-panel urine drug screen.
• Willingness to pass a 7-year background check.
• Basic math and ability to record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Utah. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave. The ideal Loader/Unloader is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.

What will your job involve?

• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers on site and ensuring all transports are prepared in a timely manner.
• Preparing and packing of customer orders for transport.
• Moving trucks and taking care of housekeeping duties
• Working in a fast-paced team environment
• Manual handling and labor related activities
• Adhering to safety codes and conduct

What are we looking for?

• Experience in a labor-intensive, warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing job
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely and repeatedly
• Proven reliability and tenure with previous employers
