Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring for an entry-level manufacturing role in York County. You will fabricate wooden crates, load windows and accessories, and ensure crates protect products while preparing accurate shipping documents.

This position supports production and shipping teams in a fast-paced facility. We value reliability, basic computer skills, ability to follow instructions, and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn simple software tasks.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization under time constraints.
• Effective communication with peers and management.
• Willingness to wear all required PPE.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate wooden crates for shipping and perform crate-related duties.
• Load windows and accessories as part of packaging workflow.
• Ensure product is securely packaged to minimize damage.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents for accuracy.
• Assist in loading trailers when crates are ready.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you get to do

• Responsible for fabrication of wooden crates to ship, job clean ups, small jobs parts and orders
• Loads windows and accessories
• Ensure that product is packaged safely within the crate to minimize possibility of damage
• Ensure all shipping documents are completed and accurate
• Assist in loading trailers when crating duties are complete
• Other duties as assigned
