Job summary

Schillings in Saint John, IN is seeking a Loader for a full-time, day shift with no nights or Sundays. You will pull and build orders, operate yard equipment, and work safely in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Maintain a valid driver's license.
Regularly lift/carry/move up to 50lbs. and may have to occasionally lift up to 80lbs.
Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, climb, carry, and walk throughout Yard/Warehouses.
Safely operate all equipment including sweeper, skid steer, order picker, forklift, and more.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Communicate information to customers/management/team members via radios or in person.
Recognize safety alarms and hazardous situations.
Assist customers with a smile and urgency when needed.
Read a tape measure and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

Must always demonstrate safe and proper use of equipment.
Pull and accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
Build orders according to load tickets using industrial power equipment.
Manually lift and move product to restock and repack, ensuring date code accuracy.
Work independently and with team members under tight deadlines.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Complete any additional task requested by management.
Report any issues to management as they arise.
