Schillings is seeking a Loader for our Saint John, IN location. This full-time position offers competitive pay and a full benefits package.

The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment, accurate order building, and teamwork to meet deadlines, with no night shifts or Sunday work. Responsibilities include pulling and assembling orders, operating a range of equipment, lifting up to 80 lbs, and maintaining safety standards while assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to regularly lift/carry/move up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 80lbs.
• Frequently sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, climb, carry, and walk throughout yard/warehouses.
• Safely operate all equipment including sweeper, skid steer, order picker (8–30 ft high), forklift, pickup trucks (with/without snowplow), flatbeds, box trucks, vans, and SUVs.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Effectively communicate information to customers, management, and team members via radios or in person.
• Recognize and respond to safety alarms and hazardous situations.
• Assist customers with a smile and move with urgency to waiting customers.
• Organizational skills, basic math, and the ability to read a tape measure.
• Composite/steel toe shoes are required (annual boot reimbursement provided).

Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a Loader at our Saint John, IN location. We offer competitive pay along with a full package of benefits and opportunities for advancement. This position will be full-time with no nights or Sundays.

Responsibilities:

• Must always demonstrate safe and proper use of equipment
• Responsible for pulling and accurately building orders for loading onto delivery trucks
• Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment
• Manually lift and move product to restock and repack, ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
• Work independently and with team members under tight deadlines
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Complete any additional task requested by management
• Report any, and all issues to management as they arise

Education/Required Skills:

• Maintain a valid driver's license
• Regularly lift/carry/move up to 50lbs. and may have to occasionally lift up to 80lbs.
