Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a customer-focused Loader to join our Belmont, NC store. You’ll help customers find and move merchandise, assist with loading orders, and support checkout and fulfillment to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Daily duties include stocking, maintaining clean work areas, using store technology safely, and coordinating with the Pro and Garden Center teams for large orders. Prior retail experience and reliability are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist customers with locating, selecting, and loading merchandise.
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use power equipment and store technology safely and effectively to move, stage, and load merchandise.
• Maintain in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Identify and report safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management and/or Asset Protection.
• Communicate product features, warranties, and Lowe’s program information to customers, while responding knowledgeably to customer and employee questions.
• Complete required power equipment and spotter training to support safe and efficient loading practices.
