Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking an Administrative Support team member for our New York facility. You will load/unload materials, move products, and organize stock in the yard, reading Bills of Lading and ensuring safe, compliant shipments.

Required: at least 1 year warehousing experience, valid driver’s license, sit-down forklift operation, basic math, reading/writing, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately.
• Ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the Special bundling area in which employees create and build bundles of pipe for special shipments
• Reading and following Bill of Ladings for loads to load flatbed trailers of finished pipe for transport to our customers in a safe and secure manner per National Pipe requirements
• Checking other employees loading bills for accuracy of their loads before the load leaves the yard. Taking pictures of the loads for future verification purposes
• Moving finished goods from the production transfer area out into the Shipping Yard
• Organizing and rotating stock place in yard
• Receiving raw material via van loads or flatbed loads which need to be unloaded in a time sensitive manner
• Receiving warehouse transfers of finished goods to be unloaded from flatbed trailers and placed in our yard for inventory
• Helping on a team during Year End Inventory accurately count and report all pipe in stock on our yard
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
