Job summary

RPM Utilities LLC is seeking an experienced Loader Operator Subcontractor to support our underground utility construction crews. You will safely operate front-end loaders and related heavy equipment to move materials, load trucks, and assist with excavation and utility construction tasks.

The role requires construction equipment experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in an active utility jobsite.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a front-end loader in construction.
• Underground utility or excavation experience preferred.
• Experience loading trucks and moving construction materials.
• Ability to work safely around trenches and heavy machinery.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment safely.
• Load and move dirt, rock, sand, gravel, pipe, and materials.
• Load haul trucks and support material movement.
• Assist with backfilling, grading, stockpiling, and site cleanup.
• Maintain proper material placement for underground utility installation.
• Follow spotter signals and keep safe distances from employees and equipment.
• Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections.
• Report equipment damage and maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and safe operating condition.
• Assist with jobsite setup and cleanup as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain awareness of underground and overhead utilities.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Help maintain an organized and productive work area.
• Perform general construction duties when equipment operation is not required.
