The Shelly Company in Ohio is seeking a Plant Operator to assist the Plant Manager with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing plant-related tasks.

Responsibilities include safely operating machinery, loading stock piles, assisting during breakdowns, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to safety practices. The role requires flexibility to travel to job sites and work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related training.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to job site requirements.
• Ramp stock piles and load customers in a timely manner.
• Assist in equipment breakdowns and routine maintenance.
• Keep plant area clean and maintain surrounding area.
• Follow safety directives and company policies.
