Job summary

Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to join our Ocala team. You will drive and maneuver front-end loaders to lift and transport bulk materials on site, supporting road, bridge, and infrastructure projects.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of experience, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors with safety gear; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of industry experience, with roads/highways/bridges emphasis.
• Ability to operate the loader as required.
• Valid US driver’s license clear of major violations.

Responsibilities

Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to join our Ocala Team. Construction equipment operators drive, maneuver, or control the heavy machinery used to construct roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures. A loader operator uses the front end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage or dumps and spreads material on site.

Job Description

Perform a basic equipment inspection to ensure that the functions properly.

• Report malfunctions to supervisors
• Drive and maneuver equipment
• Coordinate actions with crew members in response to hand or audio signals
• Ensure that safety standards are met
• Perform incidental work items and duties included within other crafts
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
• Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees
• 3-5 years or more of industry related experience is required for this position, with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges
• Must demonstrate the ability to operate the loader.
