Job summary

Nevada Pic A Part is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our Las Vegas yard team. You will operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move vehicles and materials with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced self-service yard.

This full-time position offers 40+ hours per week, with pay between $18.00 and $22.00 per hour depending on experience and certifications. Pre-employment drug screening is required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; valid certification or

Qualifications

• 2+ years of loader or heavy equipment operation experience (auto salvage preferred).
• Proven record of safe equipment use in fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of vehicle handling, staging, and yard layout best practices.
• Ability to follow clear safety protocols and company procedures.
• Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Valid operator certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move vehicles and materials.
• Stand vehicles on wheel stands per the company's safety and display procedures.
• Maintain accurate yard vehicle placement to support customer visibility and accessibility.
• Perform daily safety checks and basic loader maintenance using company software.
• Coordinate with production and inventory teams for smooth operational flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized yard with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Follow the wash schedule of the company equipment to maintain the cleanliness standard.
• Support a positive and professional work environment.
