Pick Your Part in Dayton, OH is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely move salvage vehicles and support dismantling and yard operations. You will use a scan gun and tablet to update inventory and ensure daily work orders are fulfilled.

You must have at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience, basic computer skills, and good written and verbal communication. The role requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and some automotive background.
• Basic technology competence with scan guns and tablets/phones.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperational inspections to ensure equipment is safe.
• Operate wheel loader, car crusher, forklift and other equipment safely.
• Update inventory using scan gun and tablet/phone.
• Support dismantling and yard operations.
• Communicate delays and issues to management and coworkers.
• Fulfill daily work orders as directed.
