Job summary

LKQ Corp. in Moses Lake, WA seeks a Loader Operator to move salvage vehicles, maintain the yard, and support dismantling and inventory tasks. The role requires experience with heavy equipment and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $22–$25/hr DOE. Candidates should have at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience, basic tech skills (scan gun/tablet), and good communication. This is an on-site position with potential for growth within LKQ.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Strong basic technology skills (scan gun, tablet/phone).
• Good oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely to move salvage vehicles and support yard operations.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and check fluids daily.
• Use wheel loader attachments to unload car haulers and stage cars for inventory.
• Help maintain grounds, snow removal, drainage, and access roads.
• Assist with safety, regulatory compliance, and quality checks on dismantled vehicles.
• Communicate delays and issues to management promptly.
