Job summary

Mountain Materials in Kentucky is seeking a Loader Operator to operate heavy equipment for groundwork on asphalt and aggregate projects. You will follow safety policies, perform routine maintenance, and document inspections with accuracy.

Join a union-position team that values safety, reliability, and teamwork. Candidates must pass pre-employment screens and be able to work nights and weekends as required, 18+ years old, and able to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe procedures.
• Report problems to Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.
• Follow Foreman direction for daily tasks and project-specific expectations.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to supervisor.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
