Job summary

Mountain Materials, Inc. is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to support our Kentucky quarry and plant operations. The role involves operating loaders, excavators, dozers and haul trucks, following safety procedures, and participating in routine maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel as required. This full-time position reports to the quarry supervisor and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Operate loaders, excavators, dozers, quarry haul trucks and other heavy equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and company handbook at all times.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and medical screening as required.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be able to work long hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in daily quarry/plant operations and assist with routine labor tasks.
• Coordinate with quarry supervisor and management on job specifications and priorities.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and daily equipment checks.
