This full-time, 1st-shift role operates Monday–Friday with occasional weekend work, emphasizes safety and teamwork, and includes on-the-job training and benefits. You will inspect loads, perform routine maintenance, and follow all safety protocols while contributing to efficient yard operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery or driving a semi-tractor/trailer is a plus; training will be provided.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs independently and 100+ lbs with assistance.
• Prior safety-minded approach and reliability in a yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload trucks, semi-trailers, and rail cars.
• Sort and relocate scrap materials within the yard.
• Inspect inbound and outbound loads for safety and compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance such as greasing and oil changes.
• Assist with minor crane maintenance and general labor tasks.
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
