Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator in Conroe, TX to operate heavy equipment and support a team in a dredge mining environment.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, prioritize safety, and communicate with plant staff while working outdoors in varied conditions. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must be able to operate at least two pieces of heavy equipment. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Operate at least 2 pieces of heavy equipment (haul truck, backhoe, loader, excavator, etc.).
• Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders up to 60 feet as required.
• Prompt, regular attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Operate equipment in quarry.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Cleans equipment and clears obstacles in work environment.
