Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a dedicated Equipment Operator to move salvage vehicles, perform pre-operational inspections, and support dismantling and yard operations in a fast-paced facility.

You will use a scan gun and tablet/phone to update inventory, maintain grounds, and coordinate with dispatch. Candidates need at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience, basic computer skills, and strong communication to ensure safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of heavy equipment experience.
• Must have basic technology competence and good communication.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely to move salvage vehicles.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and monitor equipment safety.
• Update inventory using scan gun and tablet/phone.
• Support dismantling and yard operations and maintain grounds.
