Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate rubber tire loaders, feed the plant, load trucks, stockpile materials, and maintain clean yard and roadways to support daily production goals. The role requires reliable transportation, some experience, and prompt, regular attendance Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Travel between yards as needed.
• Safely operate rubber tire loader and follow safety rules.
• Feed plant, load trucks, stockpile materials, keep yards tidy.
• Communicate with field supervisor about assigned work.
• Use hand tools for daily tasks and minor repairs.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and report deficiencies.
• Inspect equipment and log deficiencies.
• Keep worksite clean and tools organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do:

• Travel between yards based on operational needs
• Safely operate rubber tire loader with competency and caution, and adhere to safety procedures and requirements
• Feed plant, load trucks, stockpile materials, pushup stockpiles and maintain clean yard and roadways
• Communicate on regular and continuous basis with field supervisor regarding assigned work to accomplish and specific instructions
• Use hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdriver, sledge hammer, and others as needed to accomplish daily tasks to maintain and/or repair equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment (i.e., oil and filter changes, other equipment or motor repairs as necessary); notify supervisor of any deficiencies or repairs needed
• Inspect equipment and maintain written log of all equipment-related deficiencies
• Maintain housekeeping of work site including trash pickup, keeping tools in order; proper storage of equipment at end of workday
• Perform other duties as assigned or required
