Job summary

Tex Mixconcrete seeks a Loader Operator to run loader and related heavy equipment, performing daily safety checks and routine maintenance. The role requires following supervisor directions and operating controls to load and dump bulk material.

Must be familiar with sand and gravel plant operations, capable of working nights/mornings, and able to pass a health physical including back x-ray, hearing test and drug/alcohol screen. Outdoor, high-heat environments are common.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loader or heavy equipment.
• Ability to pass a health physical (including back x-ray, hearing test) and drug/alcohol screen.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including midnight and early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Follow supervisor directions for required work area.
• Operate loader controls to load, dump, and move material as needed.
• Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Work with sand and gravel plant operations as required.
• Communicate with employees/customers; respond to signals and maintain safety around rolling equipment.
• Be able to push, turn, and pull controls and complete all job duties; pass a health physical.
