Sterling Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled Wheel Loader Operator in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will load trucks, manage stockpiles, and handle earth materials for high-volume civil projects while maintaining strong safety practices.

Requirements include 3–5 years of loader experience, a valid driver’s license, and OSHA 10 training preferred. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered through this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience operating large wheel loaders in heavy civil construction or similar environments.
• Valid Driver's License required; OSHA 10 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 988 and CAT 992 wheel loaders to load trucks and move earth materials.
• Perform stockpile management and material handling for large scale earthmoving projects.
• Work around haul trucks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment daily and assist with routine maintenance.
• Read site plans and follow production objectives to meet project goals.
• Support other labor tasks as needed on the jobsite.
