Pottsville Quarry and Asphalt is hiring a Loader Operator for the 2nd shift in Pottsville, PA. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, inventorying materials, and ensuring safety policies are followed on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or a month of related experience) and ability to meet physical demands. MSHA or PPE familiarity is preferred; shift flexibility and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1 month related experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills; read simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Problem solving and ability to meet physical requirements.
• MSHA or PPE familiarity as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies.
• Stages and organizes materials in the yard; maintains inventory.
• Inspects materials, invoices, machines, and equipment daily.
• Performs pre- and post-trip equipment checks and daily inspections.
• Performs routine loader maintenance and keeps stockpiles maintained.
• Provides customer service on site and assists with other duties as assigned.
