Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is hiring a Loader Operator to move vehicles and large parts around the yard and support production operations in Rosemount, MN. You will operate loaders, ensure vehicles are positioned safely for customers, and help keep the yard clean and organized.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and familiarity with heavy equipment; strong teamwork and communicate well with colleagues are essential in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience operating heavy forklifts or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to handle inventory with care and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills; able to stay productive during downtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders and other heavy equipment to move vehicles and parts within the yard.
• Organize incoming and outbound vehicles per company protocols.
• Crush end-of-life vehicles and load onto semis in a timely manner.
• Assist with yard maintenance and cleanliness, including dirt/backfilling with a skid steer.
• Communicate with team via radio to coordinate tasks and ensure safety.

In this role, you will operate heavy equipment to move vehicles and large parts throughout the yard, support production operations, and help maintain a clean and organized work environment. Loader Operators play a key part in ensuring vehicles are positioned safely for customers and that yard operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

• Operate loaders and other heavy equipment to move vehicles and large vehicle parts within the yard and to designated locations
• Organize incoming and outbound vehicles according to company protocols
• Crush end‑of‑life vehicles as directed
• Load crushed vehicles onto semis in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with yard maintenance, including row clean‑up and backfilling dirt using a skid steer
• Sweep asphalt and maintain overall yard cleanliness
• Climb in and out of equipment and vehicles, and lift items as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members in person and by radio to coordinate tasks and ensure safety
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
• Address disputes professionally and contribute to a positive team environment
• Keep loaders and shared work areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma, associate’s degree, or equivalent experience
• Experience operating heavy forklifts or similar equipment preferred, but not required
• Ability to handle inventory with care and attention to detail
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to manage time effectively and stay productive during downtime
• Professionalism in handling stressful situations and disputes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Physical ability to regularly stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and move up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, climbing, bending, talking, and listening

Compensation / Benefits

• The pay for this position is $21.00- $23.00 / hour
• Medical, Dental, Vision, & Supplemental coverage: 401k with 4% company contribution after one year
