Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift.
2. Maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility.
3. Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections and associated documentation of their assigned machine.
4. Maintain a safe work environment and follow company guidelines for safe loader operation.
5. Facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customers' needs.
6. Ensure equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts.
7. Operate company equipment safely.
8. Assist with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
9. Record vehicle information accurately and legibly.
10. Operate digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices.
11. Set up yard for auctions within company timelines.
12. Provide service to customers as needed.
13. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
14. Follow yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).
15. Load and unload vehicles as required.
16. Pass training and safety requirements.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. HS diploma or GED preferred.
2. At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
3. One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.
4. Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
5. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
6. Positive attitude/High Integrity.
7. Ability to operate heavy equipment.
8. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong attention to detail.
10. Occasional O.T. as needed.
11. Bilingual skills a plus.
