Jobot is seeking a Loader Operator for a large manufacturing group in Illinois. The role offers $20 - $25 per hour with an employee-owned company culture and benefits including health insurance, 401K, and an employee-owned stake.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds and being on feet for long periods.
• Speaking, hearing and vision are essential to performing job functions.

Job Details

• Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.
• Cross train on all finishing assets in the Bindery department.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance/repairs, report any mechanical defects to Operator, Manager and Team Lead, and keep machinery in good working condition.
• Ensure quality system procedures are followed at all times.
• Ensure department meets all needs for customer satisfaction including OTD.

Success factors…

• Preferably +2 years of Bindery (literature folder gluer) or other technical skills operating machinery.
• Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
• Flexibility to work any shift and Overtime. Work in a fast pace environment with ability to adapt to change.
• High school diploma or GED
• Physical requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
