Job Summary

We are hiring a Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the 84096 area with a growing commercial printing and publishing operation. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined production professional with bindery, die-cut, finishing, mail, or commercial printing equipment experience.

As a Machine Operator, you will help produce accurate, high-quality finished print products using bindery and finishing equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and die-cut machines. Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, adjust, and operate bindery and finishing equipment, including cutters, folders, stitchers, and die-cut machines.
  • Review and follow job tickets, specifications, and standard operating procedures to complete accurate production runs.
  • Monitor equipment during production, troubleshoot minor issues, and report maintenance or quality concerns as needed.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.
  • Load, unload, and handle printed materials while minimizing waste, spoilage, and production delays.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while following company procedures and OSHA safety guidelines.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay: $17 to $19 per hour.
  • Job type: Temp-to-hire.
