Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a dependable forklift operator to pull, pick, and load outbound shipments and unload inbound deliveries at the Acworth facility. A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered, paid in three installments over 270 days.

Responsibilities include operating a propane sit-down forklift, organizing shipments, loading materials for transport, and ensuring accuracy and safety on the dock. ADA accommodations are available; expect a fast-paced manufacturing environment in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane sit-down forklift.
• Sort shipments and group merchandise for order fulfillment.
• Load finished materials and unload raw materials for transport.
• Move products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspect forklift and ensure safety compliance.
• Verify piececounts on pallets and compare to labels.
• Follow shipping work orders and assist wherever needed.

Job Description

Job Summary

This positionis responsible forthe pulling/picking and loading of all outbound shipments and unloading/movement of all inbound deliveries to the facility.

This role is currently eligible for a sign on bonus of $1,500 to be paid in three increments:

• $500 paid approximately 90 days following hire date
• $500 paid approximately 180 days following hire date
• $500 paid approximately 270 days following hire date

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
• Sort shipments for destination and group merchandisetobe included with or fulfilled in an order.
• Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
• Movingproductsto pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspectthe forklifttodeterminethe need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
• Verifypiececounts on each pallet andcomparestolabel.
• Material handling of all products.
• Followshippingwork orders.
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

• Fast paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways. Will be working in all weather conditions.

Education and Experience:

Required:
