Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Acworth, GA to handle outbound shipments and inbound deliveries with a focus on safety and efficiency. This role includes a sign-on bonus of $1,500 paid in three installments.

You will operate a propane sit-down forklift, sort shipments, load/unload materials, and ensure accurate counts. The position demands physical stamina for a fast-paced environment and adherence to safety procedures.

Job Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the pulling/picking and loading of all outbound shipments and unloading/movement of all inbound deliveries to the facility.

This role is currently eligible for a sign on bonus of $1,500 to be paid in three increments:

• $500 paid approximately 90 days following hire date
• $500 paid approximately 180 days following hire date
• $500 paid approximately 270 days following hire date

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
• Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
• Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
• Moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
• Verify piece counts on each pallet and compares to label.
• Material handling of all products.
• Follow shipping work orders.
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

• Fast paced manufacturing environment, loading dock, and driveways. Will be working in all weather conditions.

Education and Experience

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.
