Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Loader in Oklahoma City, OK. You will load cylinders for delivery, unload empties, and safely operate a forklift while adhering to safety rules and regulatory requirements. The role includes preparing trucks for deliveries and participating in ongoing safety training in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a forklift and become certified.
• Ability to work independently.
• Occasional overtime and weekends may be required.
• Ability to work with people of varied backgrounds.
• Must read and comprehend written/computer-generated documents.
• Must have valid U.S. employment authorization (no visa sponsorship).
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Load cylinders for delivery to customers and outlying branches.
• Unload empties and move to fill racks/storage areas.
• Participate in safety training and maintain a safe work environment.
• Load pallets with full cylinders and place in storage.
• Prepare and load trucks for delivery using store orders/manifests.
• Perform pre-trip forklift inspections daily.
