Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is hiring a Loader to move materials within plant, yard, or work sites. You’ll read pick ticket orders, load and unload, and help ensure accurate fulfillment with attention to safety.

The role requires a high school diploma and good basic math and communication skills. Forklift certification is a plus; background checks will be conducted. This on-site position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and disperse supplies according to company policies.
• Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, trays, or shelves.
• Move materials using hand-truck, dolly, or yard devices.
• Secure materials in transit using straps or padding as needed.
• Perform accurate counts and record material movements daily.
• Operate industrial trucks occasionally to assist in loading or moving materials.
