Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is seeking workers to join our outdoor construction team. You will follow safety procedures, learn blasting site operations, and perform laboring tasks, including loading explosives and maintaining the work site.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel out of town/state are required. Applicants must be safety-minded, able to work outdoors in varying weather, and willing to participate in overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License with good driving record and own transportation.
• ATF screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Company Safety procedures and policies
• Physical agility
• Submit weekly time cards accurately and signed
• Learn safety aspects of working construction sites and around explosives
• Take direction and perform laboring activities
• Work unsupervised occasionally
• Load/unload explosives from truck
• Carry buckets of stemming stone to blast holes
• Maintain clean and organized job site
• Other duties as assigned
• Attend all meetings
• Participate in monthly Foreman and safety meetings
• Participate in daily heads up safety meetings
