Responsibilities

• Pull and pack orders and load/unload trucks and flatbeds.
• Ensure products are secure and safe for shipment.
• Inspect products and packaging for damage.
• Package, palletize and bundle products for shipment.
• Operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Perform cycle counts and inbound freight receipt recording.
• Identify and store purchased/manufactured fittings.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and cleanup.
• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.

Loader (Day Shift) $20.80/hr. (6:45AM - 3:00PM Monday - Friday)

Who we are looking for

We are currently searching for a Loader to be based out of Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the Operator’s primary focus will be pulling and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks/flatbeds and making sure the product is secure and safe.

What you’ll do

• Follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE
• Follow yard and dock loading/unloading safety rules and procedures
• Be able to locate, accurately count, and package products for shipment
• Inspect products and packaging for damage
• Package, palletize and bundle product for shipment using means appropriate for method of transportation
• Proficient with all sorts of material handling and packaging devices including forklifts, pallet jacks and banders.
• Cycle count product
• Accurately receive and record inbound freight shipments
• Correctly identify and put away purchased/manufactured fittings
• Aware of overstock areas
• Load out customer will call's and other docked van freight
• Unload product from flatbeds and docked van freight
• Able to correctly tie downloaded flat racks
• Packing accuracy must be at or exceed an acceptable level
• Perform general warehouse duties and cleanup
• All other assigned duties

Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
