Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties as part of daily tasks.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.

Branch out with a warehouse career at Dollar Tree! We are looking for industrial athletes to join our amazing warehouse team! As a Loader, you'll get to make a difference in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualification/Basic Job Requirements

• Load trailers while maintaining Dollar Tree safety policies to avoid personal injuries and property damage.
• Ensures freight is loaded so that appropriate space is left at end of trailer, determining when overflow is necessary.
• Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate, and merchandise is not damaged and is loaded onto proper trailer.
• Work as a team to prevent production downtime due to overloading or merchandise being left on the extender.
• Achieve set standards (engineered or productivity) on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Assist in other general warehouse duties on an as needed basis.

Position Requirements

• Education: None
• Experience: 1 year experience operating a forklift
• Physical Requirements: Able to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• The Team Member should have adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing, occasional sitting, stooping and kneeling with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Team Member will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements.

Working Conditions

• Team Member will work in a climate-controlled Distribution Center, in which outside weather conditions greatly affect the building's temperature although fans and heaters are used.
• Team Member may also be exposed to or work in a restricted space, fumes and airborne particles as regulated by OSHA.

Availability

• Team Member will perform shift work and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
