• Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.

As a Loader, you’ll get to make a difference in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualification/Basic Job Requirements:

• Load trailers while maintaining Dollar Tree safety policies to avoid personal injuries and property damage.
• Ensures freight is loaded so that appropriate space is left at end of trailer, determining when overflow is necessary.
• Check merchandise to ensure that shipment is accurate, and merchandise is not damaged and is loaded onto proper trailer
• Work as a team to prevent production downtime due to overloading or merchandise being left on the extender.
• Achieve set standards (engineered or productivity) on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Assist in other general warehouse duties on an as needed basis
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. frequently
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and load boxes 10+ hours

Position Requirements:

Education: None

Experience: 1 year experience operating a forklift

Physical Requirements:

Able to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. The Team Member should have adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing, occasional sitting, stooping and kneeling with or without reasonable accommodation. Team Member will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements.

Working Conditions:

Team Member will work in a climate-controlled Distribution Center, in which outside weather conditions greatly affect the building’s temperature although fans and heaters are used. Team Member may also be exposed to or work in a restricted space, fumes and airborne particles as regulated by OSHA.

Availability

Team Member will perform shift work and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
