Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The Loader is responsible for safely loading and unloading route delivery trucks and trailers while maintaining warehouse inventory accuracy and organization. This role involves operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, handling administrative tasks, and upholding safety and housekeeping standards in all working conditions.

Reporting Location: Tampa, FL

Compensation: $19.50 / hr + 6-8% shift differential 5 pm to 5 am

Schedule: Monday to Friday, occassional weekends as needed

Start Time: 5 PM – until work is complete; 8+hrs/shift. Overtime may be required depending on business need

Skills Required:

  • Load and unload route delivery trucks and trailers manually and using forklifts or electric pallet jacks.
  • Verify load sheets to ensure trucks receive correct equipment and product loads.
  • Palletize products and ensure proper handling and storage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and other inventory control tasks.
  • Move delivery trucks for loading, unloading, and refueling as needed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as bay mapping, damaged product counts, and coordinating housekeeping entry.
  • Support with other requests/tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (no major offenses in the last three years).
  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 pounds throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including extended shifts and weekends, as needed.
  • Basic computer/data entry skills and strong math abilities.
  • Ability to obtain forklift operator certification (forklift experience preferred, but training is available).
  • Must be able to work safely in all weather conditions.
