Job summary

AGF Glass in Springfield, MO is seeking a dependable Truck Loader to prepare outgoing glass and materials for safe transport to our wholesale customers. This is a hands-on, physically active role that requires attention to detail, safety, and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities include loading according to load sheets, inspecting materials, and operating forklifts or cranes as needed. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM with overtime; starting pay is $17/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds independently and frequently.
• Stand for extended periods and work in hot/cold conditions.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must pass a background check.
• Forklift/crane certification or ability to obtain.
• Reliable, able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and a positive attitude.

Job Overview

As a Truck Loader, you will play a vital role in preparing outgoing glass and materials for safe transport to our wholesale customers. This is a hands-on, physically active position that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and strong teamwork. Your reliability and work ethic directly support our promise of quality and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load glass and materials onto delivery trucks according to load sheets
• Inspect materials prior to loading to ensure quality and accuracy
• Operate forklifts or cranes as needed (not primary loading method)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds independently and frequently

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in hot and cold conditions depending on weather
