Equiliem is seeking a Warehouse Loader in Portage, MI for a Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–5:00 PM shift. The role supports daily warehouse operations including loading trucks, repackaging, and inventory rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to handle products and follow loading, inventory, and warehouse procedures.
• Physical tasks: reaching, handling materials, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, occasional crawling.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Good vision and depth perception to perform duties.

Location: Portage, MI

Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-5:00 PM

Pay: $22.21 - $23.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Warehouse Loader supports daily warehouse operations, including truck loading, product repackaging, inventory rotation, and facility maintenance. This role ensures products are loaded accurately, handled according to established standards, and rotated based on expiration dates. The Warehouse Loader also maintains warehouse cleanliness and follows procedures for handling damaged or expired products.

Job Responsibilities

• Load trucks accurately according to account requirements and established warehouse procedures.
• Verify that truck loads match the quantities and products requested by the Account Manager.
• Rotate products on trucks and in the warehouse according to expiration dates.
• Clean and repackage products in accordance with established quality standards.
• Dispose of damaged or expired products after obtaining approval from the Operations Manager.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing trash nightly, sweeping floors daily, and operating a floor scrubber periodically.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and proper product-handling practices.

Job Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to handle products carefully and follow loading, inventory, and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including reaching, handling materials, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and occasional crawling.
• Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Sufficient close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus to perform job duties.
