Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling is hiring a Load Inspector at our Becker, MN site to support daily yard operations. You will assist equipment operators by identifying customer materials and directing traffic throughout the yard, ensuring loads are inspected and properly directed.

The role emphasizes independence, attention to safety, and strong communication with yard staff. Work is on-site, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and grade incoming and outgoing loads for quality, weight, packaging, hazardous materials and safety.
• Communicate inspection results to operators and other yard staff.
• Complete inspection reports and tickets as needed.
• Direct on-site traffic to ensure materials are unloaded in correct locations.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and perform other assigned tasks.
