Job summary

EMR USA Metal Recycling is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Camden, NJ. This outdoor role involves inspecting loads, preventing hazardous materials, and directing site traffic. You’ll work in varying weather conditions and collaborate with diverse colleagues daily.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a safety-minded attitude. Prior QA experience is welcome but not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED-equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Prior experience in Quality Assurance preferred but not required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Quality Inspect loads to ensure materials are debris-free (concrete, dirt, trash).
• Perform checks to prevent hazardous materials from entering processing streams.
• Determine deductions from loads when unwanted materials are present.
• Direct site traffic for all trucks entering and leaving the facility.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
