Hire Velocity is seeking a Driver Manager/Load Planner to oversee daily trucking operations, optimize load planning and monitor driver performance. The role emphasizes compliance with DOT regulations and delivering high service levels.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of tanker dispatch experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with maintenance and other departments to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1+ year tanker dispatch experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and updates.
• Familiarity with dispatch tracking systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for drivers, provide load assignments and updates.
• Coordinate daily load planning to optimize efficiency and on-time performance.
• Monitor driver compliance (Hours of Service) and performance metrics.
• Lead a fleet of regional drivers and manage relationships to boost productivity.
• Maintain real-time fleet visibility using GPS and dispatch software.
• Ensure accurate driver information and timely problem solving.
