Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a Load Planner in Lawrence, KS. The role creates precise truck load layouts, verifies weight limits, and updates shipping documents to ensure damage-free loading and timely shipments.

You will coordinate with Scheduling and the Door Center, revise layouts as needed, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment. We value accuracy, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn product/policy and procedural knowledge.
• Accuracy handling large amounts of data and speed/accuracy testing.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create load layouts for trucks within guidelines and ensure load is damage-free.
• Revise layouts as needed and complete within supervision timelines.
• Communicate with Scheduling and the Door Center about special loading needs.
• Verify layout details and weight to stay under truck limits (41,500).
• Update layouts and shipping paperwork; provide feedback on feasibility.
