Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a Load Planner to support front-office operations including billing, dispatch, and equipment control. The role involves entering orders, communicating with dispatch, and coordinating with customers via phone, email, and fax.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in trucking and/or intermodal transportation.
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and information (billing) into the system.
• Report customer orders to dispatch in a timely manner.
• Inform equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs.
• Print export and import lists for dispatch and equipment control.
• Maintain direct communications with customers via phone, email, fax, etc.
• Perform other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned.

Primary responsibilities of a Load Planner include (but are not limited to):

• Entering customer orders and customer information (such as billing) into the computer system
• Reporting customer orders to dispatch in a timely manner
• Informing equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs when they arise
• Printing export and import lists for dispatch and equipment control
• Maintaining direct and indirect communications with customers via telephone, email, fax, etc.
• Other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.)
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Organizational skills.
